As part of the IIANC PARTNERS program, our Presidential PARTNERS are able to submit a guest blog posting to our blog, Insurspective. Please see below from IIANC Presidential PARTNER Heritage Insurance.
Earlier this year, Heritage Property & Casualty Insurance Company began writing insurance in North Carolina. The Florida based company is writing a full suite of comprehensive Homeowners products (HO3, HO4, HO5 and HO6) statewide. A Dwelling Fire product is coming later this year.
Heritage is represented locally by two seasoned insurance veterans. Anne Morin, from Wilmington, is the Eastern Carolina Sales & Marketing Director; Kelly Bailey, from Charlotte, is the Western Carolina Sales & Marketing Director. Heritage is proud to have these two skilled and highly respected insurance professionals on our team.
Heritage is expanding into new coastal markets, with North Carolina as the first expansion state outside of Florida. This means the community of homeowners who trust Heritage Insurance to guard their peace of mind continues to grow up and down the eastern seaboard. Here are the details of the expansion, and what it means for residents of both new and existing markets.
What does this mean for North Carolinians?
Residents of North Carolina will now have more available homeowners insurance options. Current and prospective homeowners throughout the state will be able to rely on Heritage’s experience in the industry and take advantage of its competitive policies. The company has partnered with a network of over 200 hardworking independent agents in order to provide residential property insurance across the state.
Heritage is a proud partner of National General Insurance Company, one of the largest and most successful automobile insurance providers in North Carolina. Each company offers companion policy credits on their programs. Our quoting platforms are also integrated to facilitate ease of use for agents quoting both Auto and HO at the same time.
Heritage is a member of the IIANC, and is pleased to be a participating sponsor at the Presidential level. Nationally, Heritage is a Trusted Choice partner company.
Are there further plans to expand?
Yes. Expanding to North Carolina is part of a larger expansion initiative. Although the move to North Carolina is a major milestone, it’s only the first step in the company’s plans to bring quality insurance to more homeowners across America. So far, in addition to North Carolina Heritage been approved to provide insurance in South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. An application is pending in Massachusetts. Additionally, the company recently finalized the purchase of Zephyr Insurance Company in Honolulu, Hawaii. More states will be added in the near future.
Heritage looks forward to meeting the needs of policyholders in new markets as it continues in this exciting growth phase. Read about Heritage Insurance and its future plans here.
